Some really gross stuff at the museum...Criminal’s brains dissected, baby cyclopes, midget and giant’s skeletons, old surgical equipment, butt loads of skulls…..a must see museum for the twisted mind….LOCATION: 19 South 22nd Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19103 HOURS: 10AM - 5PM, Monday through Sunday, every day of the year except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Over the years, the practice of medicine has evolved ... thankfully. With more than 20,000 objects, instruments, specimens and illustrations, the Mütter has a little something for everyone. Items include both specimens and photographs of battle injuries from the Civil War and the connected livers of famous Siamese Twins, Chang and Eng. Find out how different procedures have advanced through time, and thank your lucky stars it's not the 1700s. There are portraits, photographs, medals, badges and other assorted items on display. Along with the permanent displays, the museum also holds special exhibits. www.collphyphil.org/muttpg1.shtml
